Hello! I am currently trying to make Segmented Dimming work with Godot.
As I understood it from the documentation, all you need to do is setting the alpha blend mode through the openxr extension so that the alpha values of the frame are used for dimming.
Is there anything else that needs to be done?
Unfortunately simply setting the alpha blend mode did not work.
The segmented dimmer is controlled by the alpha channel that is rendered on the final image. I would double check your project and see if there is anything that is clearing the alpha values. We don’t officially support Godot, so our knowledgebase is limited regarding how the final image is composited in the engine.
