Hello Magic Leap team,
I've recently been running into issues starting up a new project in Unity. When trying to install the latest version of the Magic Leap setup tool, the window gets stuck on loading and importing when I go through the install procedure as normal:
Are there any potential version incompatibilities that could be causing this issue? I've worked on ML2 projects before using this version of Unity as well as various others and haven't run into this issue until recently.
Does the message persist when you exit and reopen the window?
Yes. The message stays the same when I close and reopen the window, and restart the entire project. I have tried uninstalling the magic leap setup tool and reinstalling it including deleting it from the packages folder via file explorer but run into the same issue nonetheless.

This version of the setup tool still doesn't work and the magic leap setup tool window remains unchanged. It is accompanied by this error in the unity editor:
Can you provide the full logs of the error? The script that the error is pointing to is not part of the setup tool package.
What part of the process does the tool get stuck on? Is it after selecting 'Import the Magic Leap SDK' ?
Important Note: I recommend using OpenXR because future updates to the setup tool will remove the MLSDK setup process in favor of OpenXR.

I'm not sure which part of the process the tool gets stuck on as I never see the list of actions to complete in the setup tool like I would normally.
The application I am using the Magic Leap 2 for has been using the older MLSDK for development and makes use of MLSDK specific things like the MLHub App Simulator. Is there any chance the versions I have installed could be having some sort of incompatibilities?

The error is part of the com.unity.xr.magicleap@7.1.1 package not the Magic Leap Setup Tool. It doesn't look like the Unity 2022.3.7f1 supports the 7.1.1 version of the com.unity.xr.magicleap package.
