We recently received information from our hardware distributor that Magic Leap 2 devices are no longer available for sale in Japan due to a halt in production.
We’ve also heard similar rumors elsewhere, so we wanted to ask the community (or Magic Leap team directly) for clarification. Is this a temporary situation, or has production and sales of Magic Leap 2 been permanently discontinued?
Any official confirmation or additional insight would be greatly appreciated.

As part of our evolving journey and in response to changing market dynamics, we are focusing on deeper technology partnerships to create the next-generation of AR solutions and discontinuing sales of Magic Leap 2 globally in March 2026. Please contact your reseller for specific order cutoff dates.

We are not announcing further product plans at this time.
