I’ve been reading in the forums that the Magic Leap 2 is being discontinued. I have a critical question regarding the end of the support/service period.
Could anyone clarify if the headsets will continue to function as they do now once that period is over, or will they stop working entirely (e.g., get bricked or locked out of essential services)?
We currently have an ongoing, active project deployed at a company using these devices. If the headsets were to suddenly stop working after the support period ends, it would cause a severe disruption and a major problem for our operations. We need to know if we can safely continue using them locally or as-is for the foreseeable future.
Any official information or clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
