XR_ML_pixel_sensor extension status

Hi,

Just wanted to know if you could share some info regarding the acceptance of XR_ML_pixel_extension by the Khronos Group? Is it still a work in progress or has it been deprecated by another mechanism/extension?

It’s needed to accurately locate ML2 physical camera ( Locating ML2 physical camera in OpenXR ).

Most of Magic Leap extensions have been accepted more than a year ago in OpenXR release 1.1.41 (2024/09/25), except for it, hence my question.

Unfortunately, we do not have a status update for these extensions at this time. I know they are still considered experimental however developers have been able to use them successfully in your project.
