Hello,

We're working on a Magic Leap 2 project requiring remote assist capabilities.

The Magic Leap Assist app is great feature-wise, however, we did encounter some issues.

Since "Magic Leap Assist is designed as a pilot solution, meant for evaluating the suitability of AR in specific business contexts, rather than for large-scale deployment." I'm wondering if it's possible to get the source code for the application so that we can bring it to production state for our current needs.

Welcome to the developer forums! I'm sorry, but the source code for ML Assist is not publicly available. Although it may be sufficient for some use cases, it's meant more just as an out of the box demonstration of what's achievable using the platform.
