How to view and control pdf(s)

I am currently checking the specs as a proposal to an end user who is interested in purchasing the product.

In regards to viewing pdfs, is it possible to view and control them by extracting them directly from the Folder, rather than from within Assist or Workshop?
When I tried it in my environment (OS 1.7.0), it would display but could not be moved or otherwise manipulated.

Understood.
I suggest the user to use some kind of application since the pdf cannot be fully viewed in its default state.
