Capturing images in the same quality as the magic leap 2 camera application

Unity Editor version: 6000.0.58
ML2 OS version: 1.12.1
Host OS: Windows

In our company we are developing an mixed reality application. We want to capture high quality images and video’s within the application. We have it working images do look good (2880*2160) resolution and can capture a video too. Only our video is very low quality compared with the video that would be captured with the on-device application for the camera. (See frame from video below)

The same is done with the on-device camera application and i see in mixed reality that it can capture a high-quality video

My question is: Is this a unity issue or is it that the on-device camera is just better?,
and if so why can’t we use that high resolution in a unity project.

My code/settings for capturing and saving a video on device is:

The ML Video Recorder has been deprecated, however if you choose to continue using it , you can look at the Magic Leap Unity Examples 1.12.0 , which includes an example of capturing video.

Note: Despite it being deprecated we have not had anyone report low video capture quality.
