I know there's no GPS receiver in the ML2, but the second quote I listed is about determining a location based on wifi signal strength (and other input). For some applications (including mine) a coarse location is good enough.
We do not localize the magic leap in any manner: course or fine location. However, we can bubble this feedback to our Voice of customer team .
