Followed the getting started guide exactly in unity, but when deployed to device, the controller (red line) doesn't follow real position of controller. In fact, it doesn't move at all. Thoughts of what i haven't done?

So, it turns out that the error occurs because of something happening between unity and the device. When i choose "build and run", i have to press the menu button on the game controller and then reenter the app. Once i do this, everything works as expected. I do not know why.
