Is it possible to use a portable charger to charge the Magic Leap? If so, what specifications (e.g., wattage) would the portable charger need?

Here is some guidance for portable charging sources for the Magic Leap 2:

  • Type C
  • USB PD3.0 Compliant
  • 45W+ (recommended*)
  • Certified by Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) - UL, TUV marks
  • To avoid the presentation of low charge rate (insufficient charger) notifications on the Magic Leap 2 device as well as ensure net charge addition to the Magic Leap 2 device when operating in most end user scenarios, Magic Leap recommends that the MedTech Power Bank provide at least 27 W of power output.
