Can I use the Wi-Fi Direct Plugin and related scripts from the sample project in a Unity application that is not intended for Magic Leap devices?

I am making a game with the WiFi Direct feature and want to use the .aar plugin file and scripts from the sample project from GitHub. But in the script, there are licensing lines. I didn't quite understand the licensing, don't know if it is permissible, and don't want just to take the code if it is not.

Hey @elguncumayev,

Welcome to the Magic Leap Developer Forums!

I'm looking into this right now and will let you know when I have a concrete answer for you.

Thank you for taking the time to ask about this!

I'll update you here as soon as I have something.

Sorry for the late response here!

Took a while to track down a good answer for you.

Generally speaking, we require use of our sample code to be in apps that are compatible or interoperate with our devices. We look to our developers to make this call about their apps (as compatibility or interoperability is a technical question and varies). For reference, see section 2 of Magic Leap 2 Software License Agreement https://www.magicleap.com/software-license-agreement-ml2

If you still can't decide what to do with this information, I would advise that you use our sample code and projects as reference to create your own variation of any systems you like. This would ensure that any license or agreement is not being broken.

I hope this helps!
