The Magic Leap 2 supports Unity 6. Please see the Magic Leap 2 Unity Example project as a reference. You can download the project through the Magic Leap Hub.
We have configured the headsets
doubt is that when we’re building apk on unity and after installation on headsets
application is crashing
we’re using unity 2022.43f
magic leap xr plugin and magic leap sdk 1.2 also installed in unity
in player settings architecture changed to x86-64
in xr plugin management
magic leap is chosen
permission given in android manifest file
so now apk is building, successfully getting installed and showing running status but nothing is visible on headsets
I also downloaded configurator.apk from official site of magic leap. After installation it is also not showing anything on headset
What could be the problem
can anyone reply on this
Hey @vandygemini,
Try removing the magic leap XR plugin from your project as it should not be needed if I’m remembering correctly. This might be what is causing issues.
If you are using OpenXR for your project, make sure you have magic leap features selected and checked in your XR Plugin Management settings.
If you are NOT using OpenXR, then you need to have Magic Leap selected and checked here, nothing else (seems like this is the case for you).
Regarding the Configurator project, there are issues when downloading the project as a .zip file rather than cloning the repo. I would suggest cloning the repo and ensuring you have git LFS installed on your machine.
If you would like to just have something to test and not build an entire project, you can download the latest release of the Configurator here:
Best,
Corey
There’s one more thing. I checked the version number in the headset. It’s 1.2.0.
Can this also cause the issue??
Yes, Please update to the latest version of the OS. Here is more information about updating your device:
