# How do operational hours impact position and orientation accuracy in Magic Leap 2?

How much error in position and orientation does the Magic Leap 2 accumulate over time as it operates? Are there specific metrics, such as mm/h for position and °/h for orientation, that quantify the drift per hour?

Hi @hiroumi unfortunately , we have not made those specs publicly available. However we have the following documentation that describes how the device tracks the environment in general.

You could also experiment using the On Device Localization by scanning your environment with the Spaces app and then placing content relative to Spatial Anchors.
