My team and I are developing an app using Unity. We’ve created a system for streaming video via WebRTC to our web app. I’m wondering if it’s possible to make the video stream more similar to the one in the official Hub app and capture not only the Unity app itself but also the real-world view that the user sees?

Yes, you can. Check out the developer page here on the World Camera.
