# External Sensors Compatible with The Magic Leap 2

Hello Magic Leap Developers,
Can we develop a Fitbit application for one of their smart watches, that could connect with the Magic Leap 2 headset? We are looking to use the sensors of the smart watch to detect motion for our ML2 application. Are there any other external devices, with sensors, that can help us achieve this?

We do not limit the type of peripherals that can connect to the Magic Leap 2. You can think of Magic Leap 2 as an Android 10 device, so standard Bluetooth devices that work on Android 10 should work. I'm not sure about Fitbit specifically, since it might require specific software to be installed. Note, we do not support Google Play Services, so apps that depend on this service will not work.
